Site Operating Procedures (SOP)Â - Every site must have a good and comprehensive SOP, it can be written in .doc, .pdf, .html, and in hard copy format.
Manpower:
- To prevent, deter, and protect against Threats, Risks and Hazards
- To detect incidents, to determine their impacts, to classify incidents and conduct general monitoring and notify Site Management and Emergency Services, if needed; To document incidents
- To direct, control, and coordinate a response; To provide emergency information to all of risks
- To provide initial warnings about risks and hazards, notifying the right persons and agencies; To provide support and assist with crowd control, traffic and access to the affected areas
- To assist in investigating the cause and source of the risks, hazards or danger; prevent secondary risks
CCTV – are systems designed to provide visual surveillance, and recording of images from designated areas.
Fire Alarms – are systems designed to monitor the detection of possible heat, smoke and fire breaches on secured sites.
Intruder/Duress Alarms – are systems designed to secure and monitor sites against breaking & entering, damage, or unauthorised intrusions. It can sound like a single dog, multiple dogs, a growling dog, or a piercing alarm tone.
